Sanctuary!

Well, who'd have thought? I mean, I guess sometimes your eye swelling up is actually an abnormal, bad thing.

So, I have to go get an MRI and some blood work done. Which I'm pretty sure will be my favorite things to do in this lifetime, because I'm like that. Plus, I love medical drama.

And maybe I'll get to wear an eyepatch after all. I did get to wear the cheap sunglasses that the optometrist hands out like candy. It's a step in the right direction!

What happened to your eye? It is good to be back reading your blog. I am excited to see you at church. It has been too long since I have been to our ward.

Yeah... I think I would freak out a little if my eye swelled up. It's not just medical drama- it's obvious to the whole world drama. Though I do think that a good medical drama needs something to show for itself. The good story needs the good scar. One of my first conversations with my husband was about his particularly good scar. He even undressed partly to show it to me(he pulled up his pant leg).

Anyway I hope this turns into a good story but not a permanent scar for you. You are so tough. I think it's a good excuse for you to pretend to be a paraplegic for a day. :)

I hope everything turns out ok with your eye. Too bad it isn't Halloween then you could dress up as a pirate, or quasimodo, and actually have another reason to wear an eye patch!

I'm very concerned. Do you really think in your condition you will be strong enough to carry the buxom beautiful girl on your back? And what if you can't see and fly into a building. You'd better just get better quick.

Leave it to you to turn getting an MRI for a unusually swollen eye into a funny blog post. You're hilarious -- even when, or perhaps especially when, you look like Quasimodo.

"I'm quadee, put me in my car!"
Maybe they'll prescribe some drugs for your "pain". Tthat would be nice, huh?

Hope you are okay.

Leave it to you to find the humor in a swollen eye in need of an MRI.

Sure missed you at church on Sunday, I tried to lead and that was just scary, next time just come with the eye patch, the kids will be less scared of you then they were of my horrible singing and even worse attempt to lead a song that I didn't know the words. Feel better soon and please keep us posted or else I am coming over to take pictures of your Quasimodo self!
