Reading Blogs

Okay, I'm going to switch to GoogleReader, because this clicking on my sidebar and then clicking back to my page and then clicking on my sidebar again is just too much work for a lazy girl like me. If you don't believe me consider that I just fed my children cold hot dogs, watermelon, and goldfish for lunch. I'm lazy, people. More lazy than you might have ever imagined.

Plus, there are lots of blogs that I read but have been too lazy to put in my sidebar.

So. Should I be reading your blog? Why? Will it make me laugh? Give me the address.

Lurkers, feel free to delurk yourself. I want blogs and I want them now.

What's GoogleReader?

You want more blogs to read? Because the computer isn't a big enough time suck as it is?

I don't believe I've ever posted here before, but I've been lurking for a while.

Will my blog make you laugh? It's possible. Maybe eye-rolling is more like it.

love my google reader. except when i'm behind and have the visual reminder of how many blogs i haven't read but want to. :) right now that number is 40. sigh.

Laziness would be the reason I signed up to Google Reader a month ago, I was starting to get concerned all that clicking back and forth could be interpreted as exercise!

I've been hearing about this GoogleReader. I am in a similar back and forth predicament with my growing list of blogs. What is it, because it sounds oh-so-tempting.

I'm delurking myself. Hey girl, it's shauna from afg year numero primo.
I have a private blog. Email me and I'll send you an invite. sf_cameron@yahoo.com
warning: it's not a funny blog.

I luuuurve google reader. Although, I'm starting to wonder if I maybe have a blog reading problem. I think I'm subscribed to something like 90 blogs now. Eep.

I just started reading your blog. I think I clicked over from a comment you left on Voice of Reason last week? I ended up reading back through like, 6 pages or something like that. You totally crack me up and I love your writing.

I have 2 blogs...one devoted to my 5 month old son and the other devoted to whatever I feel like. I like to think I'm funny, but I'm also kind of biased.

My favorite funny mommyblog is Bean Paste. And if you don't already read them, I really enjoy bubandpie.blogspot.com and frogandtoadarestillfriends.blogspot.com.

Google reader has been a great help for me keeping up with the blogs I read.

i've not used googlereader but i do use the rss feature on my internet explorer ... the little orange square with a white dot that looks like it's radiating ... up there in the right hand almost corner of the screen ... but whatever works for you ... also ... blogger has a blog list now that will show you when blogs are updated ... back and forth is annoying though - i totally agree!

my personal blog isn't all that exciting but one that i read a lot and she is my good friend and she's HA-larious is iwright.wordpress.com - she's a good one to check in with every now and again!

theextraordinaryordinary.blogspot.com is perhaps the funniest thing you've ever laid eyes on.
okay, maybe it's just a lot of rambles and random info about nothing. And anyway, I don't know what googlereader is either, I just click back and forth all day long, knowing that people have site meters and probably wonder why MN visits them so much...

I love my Googlereader! But I think I spend more time reading, not less.
I guess it IS less effort though.

Hi, my name is Bonnie. I am delurking. I added you to google reader after Sue linked you to one of her posts. You are so funny.

I love google reader too. I did a post on it because I wanted everyone to know how cool it is. Couldn't live without it.

I love your blog. I love my blog too. It may force a giggle or two. But I never make promises. I feel the pressure just posting here.

I tried google reader and I have to say, I don't know how to make comments from it, so I quit. Because I just have to put in my two cents!

I just accidentally typed quilt instead of quit. I think this makes me a real true bona fide nut case about quilting. (Not quitting)

speaking of blogs that you make you laugh...
i was just on blogher clicking on random 'mommy and family' blogs and I'd see things like "2007 best parenting blog finalist" and I have to admit that I didn't think these blogs with awards are as good and funny as yours. So go win some awards and make millions with ads. That would be cool.

Charlie said...

Hi, it's me, Charlie. Hope you add me to your Google Reader... :) I don't have a whole lot of blogs that I read, so I just click back and forth...

Oh, by the way, Google reader is great. I don't have to waste my time checking all my favorite blogs (like yours, of course!) five times a day. Google reader does the boring stuff for me.

Hey! I grew up with Andrea Hardman. Your blog: reuniting long-lost friends. I like her. Also, I like google reader. And I also like My Midnight Musings, whose author is a girl I camped in Mexico with through BYU.

I'm sure someone else suggested it, but I'm really liking Blogroll, made by Blogger (hello advertisement). But seriously, I just added it yesterday, and while it took a bit to set it up since you have to reenter your friendsites in (unless you import from Google Reader), it SHOWS you when your friends last updated their website! Check it out at http://www.blogger.com/home or on my blog at stephandbrent.blogspot.com . And yes, please add me to your preferred list, Fav 5, what have you.

What is googlereader?

I love reading yours. I wish I had some inticing reason to read mine but I don't. I'm not a good writer and I can't spell very well. Sienna's cute though.

Google reader is AMAZING! It saved my life... really.

I love your blog. I lurk often, comment rarely.

Am I funny? Who knows... you decide!

Fine, fine, FINE. I love reading your blog. You are witty, hilarious, and oh so refreshing. I'm a stalker, I admit it. Blame it on Google Reader. It recommended your blog to me.

Thank the good lord for 'Google Reader.'

Um, my blog isn't nearly as wonderful as yours, but feel free to check it out if you are bored and need something oh so wonderfully random to read!

Cheers!

P.S. You remind me of Chelsea Handler, if you will, whom I love and wish I could be like, only much less crass, which is wonderful. I sincerely pray that this doesn't offend you.

I have no idea where I clicked, but I landed on your blog and you are a huge kick-in-the-pants!

If you want a funny, entertaining blog to read, you can read mine. Of course, things always seem funny late at night when you are sleep deprived and your brain cells have been sucked out your boobs with the breast milk. But then you read what you wrote the next day and it is always the same question.."what was I thinking!?"

I think you should read my blog because then I will feel super cool to know that a super cool blogger like yourself would actually read what little old me would have to say.
(Can you tell that I didn't ever get to sit at the cool table in high school.)

But then again, I'm already on your sidebar;0)
