Cracking Myself Up

Did anyone else notice that in my last post I was accidentally funny?

After the question, "Who wears the pants?" I said, "Depends." Get it?

I'm thinking a little adult company might be good for me. But can I trust myself to be in public? Probably not.

Totally the best joke, and no one had to say "Poopy Pie" (which happens to be the kids favorite hilarity around here these days.) And I've gotta say, congrats on not being pregnant....I wish I were just cleaning house...

I did wonder if that was purposeful or not. You crack me up! You should be in a magazine hosting an article like "Ask Hadleyesque". I laugh everytime I visit your blog!

I'm glad you pointed it out. My dad is in Nursing Home Administration, so I should have caught it. Alas.

One of the two jokes I remember is: (This is the Mormon version.)"So Joe and Ed are at a party, and Joe drinks lots and lots of red punch. After a couple of hours, the Ed starts wondering why Joe can drink so much and not have to use the bathroom. Ed says, 'Joe, I can't believe you have drunk that much and not had to use the bathroom! Can you tell me your secret?'

'Depends.'"

You probably can't, but that's what I love about you.

I saw it with the first post and wondered if you meant it. For a while after we were married that was one of DH's favorite jokes,
Me: "What pants should I wear?"
Him: "Depends."
So silly.
